01. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the IStructEng website or engaging our consultancy services, you agree to be bound by these professional Terms of Service, which comply with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) regulations.

If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from utilizing our consultancy intake platforms or relying on our structural information assets.

02. Professional Services

All structural designs, drawings, calculations, audits, and CAD/BIM models remain the intellectual property of IStructEng until final project sign-off and payment is completed. Structural liability is bound to the issued Pr.Eng certificate specific to the finalized, unaltered project scope.

Professional Liability Certification Our Pr.Eng certification provides absolute legal liability and engineering accountability exclusively to the specific, signed scope of work under South African law.

03. Limitation of Liability

Our website provides general engineering information. It does not constitute formal engineering advice. IStructEng accepts no liability for construction actions taken based solely on website content without a signed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and site audit.

Site calculations, loading data, and design regulations are specific to local municipal rules and should always be verified by an ECSA-registered Professional Engineer prior to site establishment.

04. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes regarding our structural consultancy services will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African legal system.
